Streaming History Tableau Dashboard

The heated debate of Apple Music vs. Spotify as a streaming service is something I have heard often among my peers, family, and friends. While I enjoyed Apple Music as my personal choice to stream music, in June of 2020 I decided to shift over to Spotify to see what all the hype was about. I continued the rest of 2020 listening on Spotify when the coveted Spotify Wrapped for the year is released. I eagerly watched my personalized story when I noticed that the numbers and the artists did not make sense. Spotify was only taking data for about half of my year, Apple Music had the other half.

Once I realized my Spotify Wrapped data would not be as accurate as others, I decided to create my own. I downloaded the data from both Apple and Spotify, then filtered and cleaned them both in Excel. After matching the data, I combined the two sets into one Workbook and used that data to create this Tableau Dashboard.
