Cornell Dubilier Consulting project
Cornell Dubilier Consulting project
During my junior year at Furman University, I was involved in a class that focused on a real-world case study. Acting as a consultant for Cornell Dubilier, a manufacturer of capacitors, my group formulated and presented the amount a capacitor costs.
In this semester-long project, we used our accounting skills and research to determine the price per capacitor based on raw materials, labor, and overhead.
This project gave me a real-world perspective of solving a problem where there is no textbook answer. We had to work as a group to find a solution in a unique and strategic manner.
